Club Information

Nestled in the Bitterroot Mountains, the High Mountain ATV Association (a non-profit association) is based in Wallace, Idaho. Our purpose is to foster and promote safe and responsible use of ATV’s by riders of all ages.

We have thousands of miles of access to Forest Service, BLM and private land.Our history is deep-rooted in the mining, loggingand railroading industries, and our mountainous terrain is filled with unparalleled scenic views and wildlife. We are both a historical and welcoming community, with many activities in surrounding towns dealing with our heritage or other types of out door recreation.

We are the High Mountain ATV Association representing the environmentally conscientious ATV enthusiasts of Shoshone County, Idaho. Several members of our Association are certified instructors for the Idaho State Responsible Riders ATV Safety Course. Our Association is a member of the Wallace Chamber of Commerce and work to promote this area for its beauty and historical significance. We invite you to join with us for some of the greatest ATV riding available in the Northwest.

Join our not-for-profit organization  representing environmentally conscientious ATV enthusiasts of Idaho’s Shoshone County and help us:

  • Promote Safe and Responsible ATV Riding for the entire family.
  • Maintain trails.
  • Work with land managers to enhance the ATV experience.
  • Teach FREE Idaho State certified ATV safety classes.
  • Lead Spring and Fall Fun Runs
  • Manage a week long ATV JAMBOREE & RODEO every July

Join Our Club

To become a member of the High Mountain ATV Association please download the Membership Form.  Dues are on an annual basis with a due date of January 31 of each year.  Membership includes a monthly newsletter keeping you up on issues that affect us and what we are working on, any upcoming events and the good feeling of supporting an organization that is working for our rights, as well as promoting safe riding!  The membership application is available here.

To order T-Shirts and other Club gear, please call 208-512-2269.  Embroidered letterman style jackets are now available for only $175, plus 6% Idaho sales tax.  Club meetings are held on the third Friday of the month at the auditorium of the old High School in Wallace.
